The collaboration-first social media planner — strong at approving and publishing posts from a shared calendar, with no step that turns a long recording into clips.
Planable is strongest at a multi-channel content calendar with feed, calendar, grid and list views. Clipflow is built for agencies running multiple client brands — per-client brand voice, a white-label client-review portal, one isolated workspace per client brand, and bundled AI at no token markup. Choose Planable if that one strength is the whole job; choose Clipflow to run 5, 10, 20 or unlimited client brands from one account, on the Agency plan that matches your roster.

Credit where due
We’re not here to write a hit-piece. Planable is a serious product with a real user base — it solves a specific job well. Here’s what we think they nailed.
Why switch
Planable is where posts get planned; Clipflow is where the client's clips get made. Paste a YouTube link or upload the recording, get 3 to 8 clip-worthy moments per pass; the top three render as captioned vertical clips on their own and the rest on a click, and send them on a white-label link the client approves without an account; the Approve posts the clip to the channels you named when you sent it. If your clients live in a posting calendar, keep Planable for it: Clipflow has none.

Common questions
Real questions from people evaluating both tools. If Planable is the better fit for a specific job, we say so.
For agencies whose client deliverable is short-form video, yes: Clipflow makes the clips and runs the client approval in one place. It is not a like-for-like replacement. Clipflow has no content calendar and no scheduling in the app. If a drag-and-drop calendar across nine networks is the job, Planable is the better tool; keep it for that.
No. Clipflow has no content calendar and no time picker. A clip is posted when you press Post now, when you send every approved post at once, or when the client approves a post you sent for approval — every approval request names the channels it goes to. If your clients expect to see a month of posts laid out on a calendar before anything goes live, keep Planable for that view.
Planable sets approval per plan: none or optional on Basic, required on Pro and multi-level on Enterprise, and its guest links let occasional reviewers view and comment without an account. Clipflow sends each client a white-label review link with no login, where they approve, request changes or comment on each post sent to them. The page carries the client’s own brand from their brand kit, and only a small "Powered by Clipflow" line stays visible.
No. Planable plans, approves and publishes posts; its video editor trims, splits, merges and crops a video you add (freely or to a ratio) and adds text. It does not find the best moments in a long recording, follow the speaker when it reframes to vertical, or burn in word-timed captions. In Clipflow a YouTube link or an uploaded recording becomes 3 to 8 clip-worthy moments per pass; the top three render as captioned vertical clips on their own and the rest on a click.
Planable's pricing page, checked in September 2026, lists the first 50 posts free, Basic at $39 a month per workspace and Pro at $59 a month per workspace billed monthly ($33 and $49 a month billed yearly, two months free); Enterprise is on request. Clipflow is priced per client brand: $50 a month per brand on Agency Flex, or bundles of 5 · 10 · 20 · unlimited client brands, $199 to $499 a month, and that includes making the clips, not only approving them.
It can make sense. Clipflow covers the video half: cutting client recordings into clips, the white-label approval link, and posting the approved clip (to Instagram and YouTube in one click, to TikTok, Pinterest and LinkedIn through an Upload-Post account). Planable covers a cross-network calendar, text and image posts, reports and nine networks. If your clients only sign off on short-form clips, Clipflow alone may be enough. If they plan whole campaigns on a calendar, keep Planable.
