Adobe’s video review platform — the standard for frame-accurate feedback on long edits, not a tool that finds, cuts or posts short-form clips.
Frame.io is strongest at frame-accurate and range-based comments on long video edits. Clipflow is built for agencies running multiple client brands — per-client brand voice, a white-label client-review portal, one isolated workspace per client brand, and bundled AI at no token markup. Choose Frame.io if that one strength is the whole job; choose Clipflow to run 5, 10, 20 or unlimited client brands from one account, on the Agency plan that matches your roster.

Credit where due
We’re not here to write a hit-piece. Frame.io is a serious product with a real user base — it solves a specific job well. Here’s what we think they nailed.
Why switch
Frame.io is built for reviewing an edit; Clipflow is built for producing a client's short-form clips and getting them signed off. Paste a YouTube link or upload the recording, get 3 to 8 clip-worthy moments per pass; the top three render as captioned vertical clips on their own and the rest on a click, and send them on a white-label link — the client’s Approve posts the clip to the channels you named. For long-form and ad-film review, keep Frame.io.

Common questions
Real questions from people evaluating both tools. If Frame.io is the better fit for a specific job, we say so.
For short-form social clips, yes; for post-production review, no. Clipflow finds the moments in a client’s recording, reframes them to vertical, burns in captions, sends them on a white-label approval link and can post the approved clip. Frame.io reviews finished edits with frame-accurate comments and a Premiere Pro integration. For long-form, ad-film or broadcast review, Frame.io remains the better tool.
No. On a Clipflow review link the client comments on a clip as a whole, requests changes or approves it; comments are not pinned to a frame or a time range, and there is no Premiere Pro panel. That fits short social clips. It does not replace Frame.io for detailed notes on a 30-minute edit or an ad cut.
Yes. Paste the finished file’s public link into a post’s publish panel and send the post for approval: the client plays that exact file on the review link and approves it. The post has to sit on a video in the client’s workspace, and comments cover the whole video, not a frame. Clipflow has none of Frame.io’s review depth: no comments pinned to a frame or range, no version compare, no Premiere Pro panel. For detailed notes on a long edit, keep Frame.io.
Frame.io’s pricing page lists review, storage, Camera to Cloud and editing integrations, but no built-in social publishing. Clipflow posts the approved clip itself. Instagram and YouTube connect in one click and get the clip itself; TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn and X get it through an Upload-Post account; Facebook gets no clips. Every approval request names the channels the post goes to, and the client’s Approve posts it there right away.
Frame.io's pricing page, checked in September 2026, lists a free plan for two members with 2 GB, Pro at $15 per member a month for up to five members and Team at $25 per member a month for up to fifteen (13% less billed yearly); Enterprise is on request. Clipflow is $50 a month per client brand on Agency Flex, or bundles of 5 · 10 · 20 · unlimited client brands, $199 to $499 a month, with unlimited seats.
