A weekly content calendar that survives a real schedule.
A calendar template that survives the reality of recording weeks. Doesn't assume daily content; assumes one long recording per week and laddering it into 8-12 short-form posts across 5 platforms.
Weekly cadence template
One long recording per week, 8 short-form outputs spread Mon–Sat.
Template
Monday — Long-form (YouTube / Podcast / Newsletter)
Tuesday — Short #1 (TikTok + Reels + Shorts)
Wednesday — Short #2 (LinkedIn long-form post)
Thursday — Short #3 (TikTok + X thread)
Friday — Short #4 (Reels + LinkedIn square video)
Saturday — Short #5 (Shorts + TikTok)
Sunday — Off / weekly review
Example
(See above — copy verbatim into a Notion / Airtable / Google Sheets template)
When to use: Default for a creator publishing across 4–5 platforms with one long-form recording / week.
A/B hook test schedule
Three hook variants per clip, shipped on different days, the winner feeds the next batch.
Template
Day 1: Ship Hook A across TikTok + Reels
Day 4: Ship Hook B (same clip, different opener)
Day 7: Ship Hook C (same clip, different opener)
Day 10: Compare watch-time / completion rates → tag winner pattern
Day 14: Next batch leans on the winning hook structure
Example
Track in a Notion DB column: hook_pattern + watch_time_3s + completion_pct
When to use: When you want systematic learning, not just gut-feel posting.
Quarterly content review
Once per quarter, audit what worked and recalibrate the brand voice.
Template
Pull every post from the quarter
Sort by: views, save rate, profile-visit rate
Flag the top 10% — what hook pattern? what topic?
Flag the bottom 10% — what was templated? what was off-voice?
Update brand voice samples to lean toward the winners
Commit to one fewer topic next quarter — depth beats breadth
Example
Use the Hook Analyzer + Caption Length Checker tools to score the top performers retroactively.
When to use: Every 90 days. Skipping this is why most creators plateau at the 6-month mark.
