Does Clipflow have animated captions like Submagic?
Yes. Six burned-in caption styles ship with word-level highlighting, including Karaoke and Beasty. They are a fixed set — you pick one per clip rather than saving your own.
Why use Clipflow if I already have Submagic?
Because Submagic is built around the caption. It also finds clips (Magic Clips) and publishes to social from its Starter plan (pricing page, September 2026), so posting is not the difference. The difference is the client: Clipflow keeps a workspace, a brand kit and a brand voice per client, writes three hook variants per post, and sends clips on a no-login approval link whose Approve posts them.
Is Clipflow more expensive than Submagic?
Per minute of video processed, Clipflow is roughly comparable. Per workflow shipped (clip-finder + captions + publisher), Clipflow is far cheaper than stacking Submagic + OpusClip + Buffer.
Can I import a clip Submagic already captioned?
Yes — drop the captioned MP4 into Clipflow and the pipeline still works. The brand-voice engine will optionally rewrite the captions in your voice if you want consistency across the back catalog.
Does Clipflow work for non-English content?
Partly. Auto-subtitles support 50+ languages, so a clip can be captioned for an audience that does not share the speaker’s language. Clipflow does not translate or re-voice the audio itself.
